Wealth Planning & Investments

Whether you are starting on your investment journey, already have investments, or are looking at the best ways to access them tax-efficiently, we invest with purpose — aligned to your goals, your timeline, and the level of risk that lets you sleep at night.

How it works

Investments are individual, dependant on your attitude to risk, and what you eventually want the investment to achieve. We balance your mid term and long term desires with the return potential and your risk tolerance to deliver a tailored investment plan.

Your needs change over time as life's events unfold, as do market conditions so we will regularly check your investment is aligned to your current needs and adjust it accordingly. We are here to support you through all that life has to throw at you and ensure you stay on whatever financial path you set out on.

We take a global view across all the asset allocations to ensure your investments are suitably diversified to deliver a strong risk adjusted return. We are Independent so we can choose the very best investments from the whole of the market, and we can pull many of these investments into a single platform for you to view for your ease.  But please remember our services relate to certain investments whose prices are dependent on fluctuations in the financial markets beyond our control.  Investments, and the income from them, may go down as well as up and you may get back less than the amouunt invested. Past performance canot be used as a reliable prediction of future performance.

Our advice is tailored to suit all your needs in one place.

We start with the goals, not the products. Once we understand what the money is genuinely for, we build a portfolio that reflects it — and review it together regularly.

Retirement & Pension Strategy

Whether retirement feels far away or just around the corner, we help you understand what you'll have, what you'll need, and how to bridge the two with confidence.

How it works

Retirement is different for everyone, so we match what you would like to achieve with what is possible. The key is to plan ahead. Many peope approach retirement not knowing how much they have, or indeed how much they will need, which can leave them apprehensive.

We will ensure this is not you. We will make sure your retirement has been fully planned with the most tax efficient savings and investments plans, so when the time comes you know what your retirement looks like enabling you to concentrate on enjoying it!

The aim is confidence, not complexity.

Financial Protection

Honest conversations about the things no one likes to think about. The right cover for your family, your income, and your business — so life's harder moments don't become financial ones too.

How it works

Good financial protection planning provides peace of mind in the event of the inexplicable happening. It can allow you and your family to remain financially stable and maintain your current standard of living in times if difficulty.

Many people think their biggest asset is their home. But your home does not provide a steady income every month until you retire. Your biggest asset is you. People tend to insure our homes, our cars, and our pets, but often fail to insure the most valuable of assets – ourselves, our income and our ability to continue our way of life.

We can guide you through the different options to advise which protection is the most cost effective.

We will guide you through what your best options would be if the worst did happen — then put quiet, well-structured cover in place to make sure you can continue your life.

Estate Planning

Thoughtful planning for the wealth you'll pass on. We help structure your estate efficiently, reduce unnecessary tax, and make sure the right people are looked after in the right way.

How it works

With the recent changes to government legislation, more and more people will find themselves falling into the group that have to pay Inheritance Tax. Inheritance Tax is paid at 40% and is due within six months of death, so can be a significant problem if not sufficiently planned for.

The key change made by the government is from April 2027 the value of your pension will be added to your overall Inheritance Tax liability. Your pension is probably one of your two largest assets alongside your house. With house prices rising by 74% over the last 20 years (according to Zoopla) and your pension now contributing to your Inheritance Tax liability, are you going to be pulled into having to pay Inheritance Tax? We will work with you to assess your likely Inheritance Tax liability, and plan accordingly for it.

Estate planning is as much about conversation as calculation. We help you decide what you want to happen — then make sure the structures are in place to support it.

Will Writing

A properly written will is one of the kindest things you can leave behind. We make the process straightforward, personal, and reflective of what genuinely matters to you.

How it works

Having an up to date Will in place ensures your assets are allocated according to your wishes. There are some instances, known as "bona vacantia", where assets can pass to the Government (instead of where you had wanted them) where there is no will in place. Having an up to date Will ensures this does not happen.

A Will is a legally binding document that leaves no ambiguity, and therefore no disagreement or unknowns for your loved ones. It also ensures your dependents are protected in the way you envisioned, any potential inheritance tax is mitigated, and the Crown cannot dictate how your estate is split.

No matter how large or small you think your estate is, it is always good practice to have an up to date will in place. We make it easy: one unhurried meeting, clear questions, and a will that says exactly what you want it to.

Please be aware Will Writing and advice on Lasting Powers of Attorney are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Business Protection

Your business is built on the people behind it. We help you put the right cover in place so that the loss of a key person, owner, or shareholder doesn't put everything you've built at risk.

How it works

Most businesses insure their premises, their stock, and their equipment — but rarely the people who actually drive the revenue. If a key person, director or shareholder were suddenly unable to work, the financial impact can be significant and immediate.

We work with you to identify who is critical to the business, what the financial exposure looks like, and how best to structure cover so the business has the funds it needs, when it needs them — whether that's to recruit a replacement, buy out a shareholding, or repay business borrowing.

We also look at how protection can be arranged tax-efficiently, often through the business itself, and ensure any arrangements sit cleanly alongside your shareholder agreements and wider planning.

The aim is simple: if the worst happens, the business — and the families behind it — are not left exposed.

Financial Guidance During Life Transitions

Divorce, bereavement, selling a business, a new chapter. When life shifts, your finances need a steady hand. We're here for the conversations that don't fit neatly into a spreadsheet.

How it works

Life rarely follows a straight line. Divorce, bereavement, redundancy, selling a business, an unexpected inheritance — these moments bring emotional weight as well as financial complexity, and the two are often hard to untangle. The decisions you make during these periods can shape the next chapter of your life, so it is important not to rush them.

We start by slowing things down. Before any recommendations are made, we take time to understand what has changed, what you are worried about, and what you would like life to look like on the other side of this transition. Often the first and most valuable step is simply getting a clear picture of where you stand today.

From there, we help you work through the practical financial decisions in a sensible order — pensions to be split or transferred, properties to be sold or retained, lump sums to be invested, income to be re-established, tax to be planned for. We coordinate with your solicitor, accountant or other advisers so nothing falls between the cracks.

We also recognise that these conversations are personal. We move at your pace, revisit decisions when you need to, and stay alongside you for as long as it is helpful — not just through the transition itself, but into whatever comes next.

Not sure where to start?

Most people don't arrive with a tidy list of needs — and that's perfectly fine. A first conversation is the easiest way to see what might actually help.
